The aim of this essay is to analyze in a problematic way the regulatory power recognized to Municipalities by the Italian Constitution. In particular, we will question ourselves on the rank of municipal regulations and – also in a de iure condendo perspective - on the best way in which these bodies can regulate the general interests of their communities of interest.
