With the aim of disseminating knowledge and fostering research on Local Government, the Centro Iberoamericano de Gobernabilidad Administración y Políticas Públicas Locales (CIGOB), provides the Revista Iberoamericana de Gobierno Local (RIGL), a biannual digital publication, to the Ibero-American community. This journal constitutes one of the scientific dissemination platforms of the Red Iberoamericana de Universidades y Centros de Investigación of the UIM.

This scientific journal (RIGL, ISSN: 2173-8254) was established in 2011 with the purpose of contributing to a calm and rigorous analysis of political, legal, economic, social, and cultural issues affecting and relevant to the local sphere.

All sections are developed under rigorous academic criteria and aim to offer comprehensive information and expand knowledge on local issues. With a very practical search system introduced from now on, articles can be accessed by author, topic, or tags across any of the published issues.
