EVALUATION
- The Revista Iberoamericana de Gobierno Local will decide, through its Editorial Board, on the publication of the papers, once they have been informed by two external evaluators, specialists in the subject, applying the blind method. In cases of controversy in the evaluation results, the Editorial Committee will select a third arbitrator to make the final decision.
- Evaluation is carried out in a format designed by the Editorial Committee containing the following criteria:
- Scientific foundation regarding sources and methodology.
- Relevance, creativity, and contribution of the paper to the science of local government.
- Presentation of information and proposal implementation.
- The Journal will communicate the decision on the paper to the authors within a maximum period of 90 days, suggesting not to publish the text, to publish it in its original state, or to publish it with corrections.
- An article that has been rejected after the evaluation process cannot be resubmitted to this Journal.
- Articles requiring minor corrections (without substantial changes) must be returned within a maximum period of 10 days after notification to the authors. Otherwise, publication may be determined without further notice, or non-publication.
