The present study, which analyzes what happened during the COVID 19 crisis in different Mexican cities through different research teams, used as one of the main instruments a questionnaire related to the habitability conditions of the home and the impact of social distance. However, the work addresses, beyond the previous results, the impact of the pandemic on the territory and, specifically, its incidence on local policies that, together with facing this crisis further, has highlighted the need to review the city paradigm that has been installed in recent decades.
