The article describes how the perceptual difference of the police-citizen binomial can be measured, and how to manage this difference to reduce it, specifically it is carried out in the city of Granada, Spain, for which its geography, population and commercial activities are described, which They are the sources of work for the police officers, as well as the staff that the city has at the time of the study.
On the other hand, the tests and questionnaires that had to be measured so that they had the necessary psychometric quality to pass them are discussed and described, all in collaboration with the University of Granada.
Finally, the actions that were taken after obtaining all the results to reduce the perceptual difference are summarized.
