Local Agenda 21 (LA21) is an alternative environmental planning allows local community stakeholders to design a sustainable local development plan. The Spanish experience in the field aware of numerous theoretical contributions, methodological and practical on the subject of Local Agenda 21. The article discusses progress on the Spanish experience in Local Agenda 21, with special attention to the case of the Autonomous Community of Andaluci?a and the municipalities of the province of Sevilla. So deal raises some conceptual elements related to environmental issues, Agenda 21 and Local Agenda 21, and then lead to status of the instrument in Andalusia and Seville and finally recognize some reviews for the Argentina case. The methodology included participant observation, reading and interpreting literature sources, content analysis of press and die design of documentary information.
