The paper analyzes the different tools to promote integrity in public procurement, with special reference to the local sphere. The different tools to fight against fraud, corruption and conflicts of interest are detailed. Knowledge of contracting strategies and technological tools for the prevention, detection and control of fraud will be key to guaranteeing integrity.
