Institucionalización de las instituciones políticas y su impacto sobre las políticas públicas

Institution: BID

This work argues that the institutionalisation is a phenomenon of balance and that associates to better public and better politics results in terms of economic development. Like support of this argumentation presents a model that expands the space of feasible actions for the political actors, including the possibility to do investments in fields so much institutionalised as no institutionalised. Of this way, allows to visualise that the process of institutionalisation can be endogenous to the operation of the political institutions. As I complement of this conceptual model, present quantitative results that show that low degrees of institutionalisation tend to weaken the results that arise of the literature of political economy more traditional. This is, in contexts of low institutionalisation the political institutions more traditional, mainly those measures of iure can not being notable to explain the results of public politics. Even so, this work opens more questions that those that answers and leaves proposed on some lines of investigation that can help to give answers to the same.
