This study analyzes the national and regional law of noise and its legal protection techniques. The work includes a review of environmental case law on noise, in particular, on fundamental rights, liability and noise, and vulnerable persons. Within the framework of conclusions, proposals are made such as the configuration of the fight against noise as a mandatory public service delimited by the legislator (state and autonomous) and the creation of Defenders of Noise as independent local administrative bodies with delegated powers.
