Cities grew and transformed, accompanying history and its events. Contexts of greater complexity and transversality, require new organizational forms, different modes of participation and technological tools, greater collaboration, coordination of efforts and concertaciones of interests, precision in the decision making and different alternatives for those who design the way of thinking, design and manage it. Our planet is moving towards a metropolitan era, characterized by large urban agglomerations technically complex and politically difficult in forms of government and satisfaction of citizen demands, their mobilization and requirements of basic health services, employment and governance.
