Territory and equality: Development planning with an eye to gender has been
developed in collaboration with the Latin American and Caribbean Institute of
Economic and Social Planning and the Division of Gender of the Economic
Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). Its purpose is to
disseminate the theoretical foundations behind the importance of incorporating the
perspective of gender in planning processes at different territorial levels, and to provide
a methodological contribution to the practice of governmental and non-governmental
actors who have responsibilities in the design and execution of these processes.
